The VP-1 Voltage Probe is a hand-held voltage detector that can be used from 50V up to 21kV AC. For secondary voltages from 50V to 600V, it's used as a direct-contact voltage detector. The probe can also be used as a direct-contact voltage detector on primary voltages from 600V up to 21kV, and as a proximity voltage detector for voltages exceeding 21kV with appropriately rated electrical insulating gloves.
