To better serve its global customers, Summit Electric Supply, Albuquerque, opened a sales office in February in the thriving metropolis of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

“Opening shop in Dubai signifies our commitment to global electrical professionals,” says Summit President and CEO Vic Jury. “Summit has been servicing international customers for many years through our export division in Houston. Now, with an office in Dubai, we will be able to bring an even higher level of services and support to our global partners.”

Summit's Dubai office is a partnership with the drilling supplies and services company, Driltools.

“International customers are no different from domestic customers,” says Abdul Hooda, vice president of Summit Global. “They want quick response, on-time delivery and superior technical support. We provide all that plus a lot more. We specialize in providing one stop for the international electrical professional, eliminating the need to work through multiple companies to get an order delivered to an international site. Summit Global makes ordering electrical material abroad easy and hassle free.”

Summit's export department is staffed by multi-lingual personnel versed in export law and regulations, as well as packing and shipping procedures, to answer any queries its international customers may put forth to the new Dubai office. They can solicit requests and contracts, purchase material worldwide, negotiate agreements and provide all required export documentation.
