Buckles-Smith, San Jose, Calif., has signed a lease on a new facility which will serve as its headquarters and main distribution center for the San Francisco Bay Area. Art Cook, the company’s CEO, said in a press release, “This represents yet another investment we are making in the future of our company. We are working with our architect to develop a modern functional work place to encourage collaboration between our employees, suppliers and business partners. The new facility is roughly double the size of our current building allowing for future growth.”
The new 65,000 square feet facility is directly adjacent to the San Jose International Airport, with great freeway access, excellent loading docks, and conveniently located in the center of the Silicon Valley. Buckles-Smith has plans to move into its new facility in early 2016. The company is ranked #130 on Electrical Wholesaling’s 2015 Top 200 ranking, with 87 employees and seven locations.
