CapitalTristate associates give back through Angel Tree

Jan. 10, 2014
The CapitalTristate's Commercial Projects department in Upper Marlboro, Md., supported Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship, that reaches out to the children of inmates and their families.

Every child has a story. For 2.7 million American children, that story is filled with the abandonment, loneliness and shame that come from having a mom, dad, or both in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration.

This year in their effort to proactively “Give Back” the Commercial Projects department in the Upper Marlboro, Md.,  location made the commitment to support Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship, that reaches out to the children of inmates and their families. The department purchased multiple gifts for a family of six children based on their requests and needs. The gifts are given with a greeting of love from the incarcerated parent or parents. CapitalTristate is extremely proud of all our associates, companywide, many of whom participate in various charitable programs, not only at the holidays, but all year long.
