The 25,000-sq-ft branch features 9,000 square feet of office space and 16,000 square feet of warehouse space.

Codale Electric Supply, Salt Lake City, has opened a new branch location in a brand-new 25,000-square foot facility located at 535 South 1070 East in Naples, Utah, just outside of Vernal. The new branch will feature 9,000 square feet of office space and 16,000 square feet of warehouse space.

The building was designed by Chris Layton & Associates Architects, and general contractor on the project was Big-D Construction. Construction began in April of this year, and the building opened for business on Oct. 21. The company plans to hold a grand opening event in April, 2014.

“We are proud to be the only full-line electrical distributor serving Vernal and the surrounding area,” Codale president Dale Holt said in a press release. “This new facility will strengthen our commitment to this community as building and property owners, and will allow us to expand our support of the mining, power and gas industries that are vital to the area.”

Codale’s Vernal branch is the company’s thirteenth location since opening in Salt Lake City in 1975. The company celebrated the grand opening of its new Casper, Wyoming, branch earlier this year, one of eight new facilities built by Codale in the last five years. Codale Electric Supply currently has 12 branch locations in Utah, Wyoming and Nevada, and one affiliate company, Codale Energy Services & Supply, LLC., in Las Vegas.  Codale Electric Supply was purchased by Sonepar in 2012.  Details
