ECN/Korns, Avinger, Texas, manufacturers of galvanized couplings, elbows, clamps and nipples, held a sales competition for Graybar customer service reps (CSRs) in Texas and Louisiana. “The Great ECN/Korns Gold Rush of '08” ran from April 15 to July 15, 2008, pitting CSRs against one another to increase sales.
To be eligible, each group must have reached a minimum threshold of at least 15 percent sales growth over the same period last year. Jeff Koslan with Graybar's Abilene,Texas, branch won a $500 American Express gift card. Koslan competed with 136 other CSRs within Graybar in Texas and Louisiana, and emerged the winner by going 515 percent over his target from from May-July 2007 compared to May-July 2008. Gerald Miller, ECN/Korns agent representative for Graybar, also won $500 for supporting the winning Graybar CSR/branch.
