Encore Wire is WinWholesale Electrical Vendor of the Year

WinWholesale, Dayton, Ohio, selected Encore Wire Corp. as its 2008 Electrical Vendor of the Year. The award was presented to Encore at the 2009 WinWholesale Annual Meetings and Vendor Showcase in Phoenix in March by Monte Salsman, chief operating officer. Encore Wire Corp. supplies building wire to local WinWholesale companies representing the Winlectric brand.

“WinWholesale's close partnership with Encore Wire Corporation is one of the reasons for our success. We look forward to working with them as we implement ways to serve our customers even better in these interesting times,” Salsman said.

WinWholesale considers several criteria in selecting the Vendor of the Year, including shared marketing goals, serving customer needs, selective distribution policy, recognition of WinWholesale's industry position and employee training programs. About 115 vendors supplying products to the Win Group of Companies participated in the vendor showcase. Vendors displayed products and talked with representatives attending the annual meetings from the 550 Win Group locations, including the Noland Company subsidiary.
