Graybar Donates $250,000 to ELECTRI

Graybar Electric Co., St. Louis, donated $250,000 to ELECTRI International in recognition of products purchased through Graybar and Graybar ESP program

Graybar Electric Co., St. Louis, donated $250,000 to ELECTRI International in recognition of products purchased through Graybar and Graybar ESP program manufacturers between Feb. 2 and Nov. 30, 2010. The donation will help ELECTRI further its mission to fund, conduct and monitor the electrical industry's critical research and deliver management education and supervisory training programs.

“ELECTRI's contributions to the industry are invaluable,” said Robert Reynolds, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Graybar. “We are honored to support ELECTRI in its mission to further the industry through research programs and training.”

The ELECTRI programs funded by the donation include research on innovation in material handling, job supervision and attracting talent to the electrical industry. ELECTRI was established in 1989 by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

Graybar ESP program manufacturers included Square D, GE Lamps, ERICO, Cooper Bussmann, Cooper Lighting, Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Cooper B-Line, Thomas & Betts, Panduit, Leviton, Hubbell and Wiremold.
