Pass & Seymour/Legrand (P&S), Syracuse, N.Y., recently stepped forward to share its products with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition viewers, donating all electrical wiring devices for construction of a new home in Geneva, N.Y.

The hit television series rebuilds homes for deserving or needy families with the help of their friends, neighbors and surrounding communities. The episode, which aired Nov. 2 on ABC, told the story of the Hill family.

Pass & Seymour equipped the new house with some of its latest and greatest devices, including screwless wall plates, ground-fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), nightlights, Decorator wiring devices, lighting dimmers and occupancy sensors. Construction took place in August, drawing support from throughout central New York.

“This family gives so much to the community, and we wanted to do our part to thank them,” said Pat Davin, vice president and general manager at P&S. “We're grateful to all P&S employees who enthusiastically shared their time and talents to make this project a success. It's been an honor and a point of pride for all of us.”
