Klein Tools Inc. has increased its presence in motor sports as a key member of the 2003 Andretti Green Racing team. As a major sponsor, the Klein logo will be predominantly displayed on the Klein Tools/Jim Beam entry driven by Dan Sheldon. The Klein logo will also be displayed on the cars and driver suits of Team 7-Eleven's Michael Andretti and Tony Kanaan.

Klein Tools began its motor sports association to support the marketing efforts of the company and its distributorships in key markets. The association has continuously flourished, resulting in an impressive increase in exposure for Klein Tools both domestically and internationally.

“Our association with Andretti Green Racing and its other fine sponsors will help drive an increase in public awareness of Klein Tools,” said Klein Tools chairman and CEO Richard Klein Jr. “What better way to communicate to the larger public our commitment to producing the world's finest hand tools than through our association with one of the world's top racing teams and series?”

In addition to the Andretti Green Racing sponsorship, Klein Tools Air Show will be the official air show of the Indy Racing League (IRL) and part of the prerace festivities at select races during the 2003 season.

Premier aerobatics pilot Michael Mancuso will pilot the Klein Tools Extra 300L aerobatics aircraft to entertain IRL fans with precision flying and thrilling routines. The Klein Tools Air Show is the newest addition to the IRL's one-hour prerace program and is part of an overall strategy to elevate the entertainment and fan experience at all league events.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Klein Tools,” said Klein.

Based in Chicago, Klein Tools is a family-owned and operated company, which has been is business since 1857.
