The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) said event registration for LEDucation 6, to be held in New York on March 21, is now officially open.

The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) said event registration for “LEDucation 6,” to be held in New York on March 21, is now officially open. “We are excited about the diversity of our speaker line-up for this year's sixth annual event,” said Wendy Kaplan of Feelux Lighting. “As our event continues to grow in attendance each year, our goal is to provide our attendees with a variety of accredited educational sessions that address hot topics, discuss the latest technologies and deliver updates on LED industry standards. This year's sessions will also provide a forum for two new panel discussions and dialogue on LED controls and dimming and LEDs in the retail environment.”

The annual educational expo hosted by the DLFNY has gained a regular following over the years and continues to attract record crowds with an attendance of more than 1,800 attendees in 2011. All sessions are eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEU) and are scheduled in four different sessions during the day. In conjunction with the seminars, a special exposition is available for attendees to view the latest LED luminaires, controls and energy-efficient designs and advancements from more than 95 LED manufacturers. Due to the growing popularity of the annual expo and seminars, event officials have extended the exhibit hours for 2012. The expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
