2016 Mountain Region Forecast

Big projects rule this region, ranging from data centers and Tesla's $5 billion "Gigafactory" in Nevada to a host of construction along the Front Range of the Rockies in Colorado. Utah is posting particularly good numbers in both manufacturing and construction employment. Overall, electrical sales in the Mountain region is expected to grow by 0.7% in 2016 after a similar increase in 2015.
