Leff Electric acquired by Richard Worthy’s AMP Electrical Distribution Solutions

Worthy oversaw the growth of Sonepar USA when it first entered the U.S. market, then left to build U.S. Electrical Services (USESI) in New England, which was subsequently sold to CED. Leff Electric ranked at # 83 among U.S. electrical distributors in terms of electrical revenues in 2013. At that time, Leff had 113 employees working in eight locations. 

Leff Electric, Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, and its affiliated companies have reached an agreement for the sale of its business with AMP Electrical Distribution Solutions Inc. (AEDSI), headed by Richard Worthy. The sale is scheduled to close by Oct. 31.
