Eaton Corp., Cleveland, will supply $8 million worth of electrical products and services for construction of a large new military medical center in San Antonio, Texas, as part of a consolidation of two military medical centers, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.

Construction began in early 2009 and has a mid-2011 completion date. The project includes a 700,000-square-foot medical trauma tower with 425 inpatient beds and 32 operating rooms. Eaton will supply low-voltage products such as panelboard and switchboards as well as services for start-up, testing and training.
