WESCO Names Successor for Haley

After 15 years assembling and leading one of the largest electrical distribution companies in the United States, Roy Haley is making plans to step down.

After 15 years assembling and leading one of the largest electrical distribution companies in the United States, Roy Haley is making plans to step down.

WESCO International, Pittsburgh, named John J. Engel to take the helm as president and CEO on Sept. 1. Haley will continue as executive chairman through May 2011.

Engel has been senior vice president and chief operating officer since joining WESCO in July, 2004.

Steve Van Oss will take over Engel's duties as chief operating officer. He has been WESCO's senior vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer since 2000. Richard Heyse will join WESCO as vice president and chief financial officer. He has been CFO of Innophos, Inc., holding company for a large producer of specialty phosphates.
