As chairman of the board for Houston's Theatre Under the Stars, Warren Electric Group's Cheryl Thompson-Draper will welcome former President George Bush and Barbara Bush to the opening of the theater's Hobby Center for the Performing Arts on May 18. The new $100 million facility's Inaugural Evening launches the theater's 35th season and includes dinner and a star-studded showing at The American Musical Theatre Awards. With a goal of $1 million, the opening gala will raise funds toward Community Outreach and Artistic Excellence. Thompson-Draper, chairman, president and CEO of Warren Electric Group, played a key role in the development of the new facility.
