To celebrate its expanded central New York presence, Zeller Corp. invited customers and businesses in the region to an open house and "Schneider Electric Express Trade Show "in June.
Zeller Corp., Rochester, N.Y., is solidifying its investment in central New York and looking to significantly grow its business in the region. Toward this end, the electrical distributor recently renovated new offices and added a customer training/demo facility in Syracuse, N.Y.
"In this new office, we can now offer our customers a demonstration area to view and try out new technologies, and a training facility," said Gary Haseley, Zeller's chief executive officer.
Zeller named Dan Shaughnessy branch manager of the Syracuse office. Shaughnessy was previously product specialist manager. Brian Blaisdell is also joining the Syracuse team. Blaisdell comes to Zeller from Square D and will work with customers regarding applications for controls, power distribution and drives. The Syracuse office has a staff of five engineers.
In another noteworthy happening, Zeller has been named a Premier High Tech authorized Square D distributor for central New York, making Zeller the largest independent Square D distributor in upstate New York. "This enhanced alliance means that we can offer customers in this region a premier product offering, and the combined technical support and expertise from Zeller and Square D," said Haseley.
With 2002 sales of more than $24 million and four New York branches, Zeller was No. 195 on Electrical Wholesaling's Top 200.
