General Cable, Highland Heights, Ky., has promoted Gregory Lampert to vice president, electrical distribution sales. Lampert has held several building wire product management positions within the company since 1998.

ASCO Power Technologies L.P., Florham Park, N.J., has appointed Hugh Chambers manager-channel development. Chambers is a 30-year veteran of the electrical industry.

Art Noparstak has been appointed marketing manager for home protection products at Intermatic Inc., Spring Grove, Ill. He was most recently director of corporate marketing and new product development for Woodstock Wire Works Inc.

John Henry has been promoted to vice president of marketing for Trade Service Corp., San Diego. Henry, a 20-year company veteran, was previously director of marketing.

Bestroute.com LLC, DeWitt, N.Y., has appointed Mark Lesselroth manager, business development e-Channels. He was previously sales director for Sage Marketing Communications. Gregg Cooper has been appointed as distributor sales manager for the company. Cooper has more than 10 years experience with sales, marketing and management in the New England region with PurchasingCenter.com, Holmes Distributors Inc. and Graybar Electric Co.

Robert Elliott has been elected assistant treasurer by the board of directors of Eaton Corp., Cleveland. Most recently, Elliott was director of global corporate finance for the company.

Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Syracuse, N.Y., has announced the appointment of two new vice presidents. Patrick Davin has been named vice president of sales for the United States and Canada, and Alan Mellows has been named vice president of international sales. Davin most recently held the position of vice president of strategic accounts and has been with the company for 15 years. Mellows was previously managing director of the CEAG Crouse-Hinds sales office in the United Kingdom.

Jeffrey Serxner has been appointed director of sales for I.W. Industries Inc., Melville, N.Y. Serxner has 35 years of experience in the lighting industry.

Daniel Pryor has been appointed to the new position of corporate vice president, strategic development for Danaher Corp., Washington, D.C. Most recently, Pryor was executive vice president, environmental water quality group.

Stuart C. Irby Co., Jackson, Miss., has named J. Tim Prevost corporate director of sales and marketing. Prevost was previously director of marketing and national accounts. Dwain Stevens has been named corporate director of human resources. Stevens has been with the company since 1998 in other human resources capacities.

Graybar Electric Co., St. Louis, has announced the following appointments. Gary Hodges has been named district vice president in charge of the new California electrical district. Hodges was previously district vice president at Graybar's location in Phoenix. Jon Umene has been named district vice president for the new California comm/data district. Umene was previously manager for Graybar's comm/data sales based in San Jose, Calif. Chris Olsen, previously the operating manager at Minneapolis, has been named the new district vice president-service in the California district. Richard Birkett has been named the district financial manager for California. Birkett was previously financial manager at Los Angeles. Richard Mitchell has been appointed district vice president at Phoenix. He was previously sales manager of that location. Keith "Kip" Davis has been named district vice president-service at New York. Davis was formerly the district operating manager at New York. Dennis Grousosky, who spearheaded the company's rollout of the district service organization, has been named vice president-service at corporate headquarters.

Wago Corp., Germantown, Wis., has promoted Toby Thomann to national sales manager. Thomann was previously marketing manager for Wago.

Jeffrey Hubert has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Leeson Electric Corp., Grafton, Wis. Hubert has held various positions in his 13 years with the company, most recently as director of sales.

She was most recently division manager at the Lafayette, Ind., location. Jennifer Swisher has been promoted to director of electric motor repair. She was previously division manager at the Crawfordsville, Ind., branch. Marie Ventura has joined the company as corporate controller. She had worked with the company as an SAP consultant since January.

Sue Dempsey has been appointed director of sales, U.S. operations for CSA International, Toronto. She was vice president, marketing and planning for University Mednet, Cleveland.
