Halco Appoints Three New Agencies

Halco has appointed three new sales agencies effective April 8. Electrical Materials Incorporated (EMI) will provide sales coverage for Michigan. McGee Co. will cover the Southern California area and Robert Amey will provide coverage for parts of the Northwest region.
​Halco Lighting Technologies (Norcross, Ga.): The company has appointed three new sales agencies effective April 8. Electrical Materials Incorporated (EMI) will provide sales coverage for Michigan. McGee Co. will cover the Southern California area and Robert A. Amey Co. will provide coverage for parts of the Northwest region.

Located in Sterling Heights, Mich., EMI was founded in 1969 and has grown to be one of the largest agencies in the Midwest.  McGee Co., Sante Fe, Calif., was started in 1963 when Jack McGee bought an existing agency (Paine and Sloan) for $2,700 plus a used washer and dryer.  His original lines were Carol Cable, Federal Signal, Rattan Fittings and Tele-Jac.  McGee Co. is an organization of many mergers, with each one bringing unique talents and vertical market share to their product mix. The company serves distributors and contractors in the Los Angeles area.

Established in 1967, Robert A. Amey Co. employs 18 people and provides coverage for the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington from its offices in Anchorage,  Billings, Boise, eastern and western Washington and Portland.
