Utility products maker Marmon Utility LLC/Hendrix Molded Products, Amherst, N.H., is celebrating 50 years of manufacturing high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulators and accessories. Since 1966, Hendrix has been a leader in molded polymer products, introducing the original HPI Tie-Top insulator. With over 20 patents and multiple industry “firsts,” Hendrix has continued product innovation throughout the years. Some include the industry’s first Vise-Top insulator, various porcelain replacement products, Universal Vise Top pin insulators and the recently released Line Post insulators. Hendrix Molded Products are made of high-density, recyclable polyethylene, and are 100 percent Made in the USA.
