IMARK (Oxon Hill, Md.): Joseph Frangipane, a leading advocate for independent electrical distributors, died July 3 at his home in Westminster, S.C., after a long battle with cancer. He was 72. Frangipane was vice president of supplier relations for IMARK Group from 1996 to 2003. Prior to that, he served as vice president of the Western Independent Electrical Distributors following a sales management career at Alcan Cable. Frangipane is survived by his wife, Roberta, and children, Greg, Denise (Land), Donna, Mary (Steinkirchner), and Jo-Anne (Schmitz). Noland Co./Raub Supply Co. (Lancaster, Pa.): William “Bill” Trapnell, Jr., 72, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2009. He was a resident of Mountville, Pa. Trapnell worked for 41 years for Raub Supply, where he served in a number of management roles including vice president of administration and operations manager at the company's regional distribution center in York, Pa.
