Dale Funk, who worked on the staff of Electrical Marketing newsletter and Electrical Wholesaling magazine for 25 years and during that time was a familiar face at industry meetings, is no longer with the publications. WAC Lighting (Garden City, N.Y.): Shelly Wang was appointed president., Wang now oversees all operations, including WAC Lighting North America and W2 Architectural Lighting. She will coordinate all sales, marketing, development and administrative functions, including the firm's manufacturing facility in China. Wang, daughter of WAC Lighting founders Tony and Tai Wang, joined the firm in 2004 and most recently served as vice president and general manager of WAC Lighting. She has also been active with the American Lighting Association, American Institute of Architects, the Illuminating Engineering Society and the National Association of Electrical Distributors.

P&M Sales (South Windsor, Conn.): The Independent Electrical Contractors of New England recently presented James Bernier of P&M Sales, Ltd. with its 2008 Associate Member of the Year Award. Bernier chairs the group's professional development committee and helped coordinate its annual New England Business and Certification Expo.

Channellock Inc. (Meadville, Pa.): Ryan DeArment has been named director of marketing. His most recent positions with the company include special projects manager and director of national accounts. DeArment will have global responsibility for the marketing of Channellock products and the continuing development of the company's brand name. Additionally, he will continue to oversee some national accounts such as The Home Depot, Lowe's, Sears/Kmart, Snap-On, Mac Tools, Cornwell Tools and Ideal Industries.

National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) (Washington, D.C.): NAW's officers for 2009 are as follows: Chairman, Chip Hornsby, group chief executive, Wolseley PLC (second term); Chairman-elect, Robert N. Taylor, president and CEO, Do it Best Corp.; First vice chairman, Dennis G. Hatchell, president and COO, Alex Lee Inc.; Second vice chairman, Mark Kramer, president and CEO, Laird Plastics Inc.; Secretary, Robert Aiken, president and CEO, U.S. Foodservice Inc.; and Dirk Van Dongen, NAW's president and CEO.

Cantex Inc. (Fort Worth, Texas): Mike Kreger is now director of sales and marketing. During his 23 years in the electrical industry he has been a manufacturers' representative and most recently a district sales manager for Pass & Seymour/Legrand. In other Cantex news, Mark Flanagan was promoted to national utility manager. He has been with Cantex for 17 years, the last seven as regional sales manager. His responsibilities will include working with sales agents to develop new products and strengthen the company's position in the power utility and telecom industries.
