Sheff named controller at Graybar

Sheff is a 20-year Graybar veteran.

Graybar Electric Co. (St. Louis):  Dale Sheff was been named controller effective Nov. 1. He replaces Martin Beagen who retired on Jan. 1, 2013 after more than 32 years with the company.  Sheff is a 20-year Graybar veteran who brings extensive accounting experience to this assignment.  Since joining the company in 1993, he advanced through field accounting roles in Cincinnati, Boston and Dallas.  Sheff served for two years as a business systems specialist in Graybar’s IT department, and then was promoted to senior accountant at corporate headquarters.  He became director, field accounting operations in 2005 and took on his previous position as assistant controller in 2008. Sheff is a CPA and earned his BA in accounting from Bob Jones University and a MBA Washington University.
