LED Retrofit Fixtures for Fluorescent Troffers
Litetronics 1-inch x 4-inch LED Retrofit convert existing T8 or T12 linear fluorescent troffers, strip lights and wraps (the most prevalent commercial, industrial, institutional light fixtures in use today) to much more energy-efficient linear LEDs. They are designed to be an inexpensive, energy-efficient, long-life maintenance-free interior lighting system for specifier clients, using a facility’s existing ceiling troffers. The patented design places two 4-foot LED tubes on a 4-inch wide metal platform to form a sturdy, one-piece unit. The units can be used end-to-end to form an 8-foot retrofit; strung individually up to 4feet apart, or as a stand-alone, independent fixture. Litetronics
LED Option for High Bays
RAB Lighting introduces RAIL, a new line of energy-saving, affordable and super-high output LED high bay fixtures with equivalencies up to 400W metal-halide. RAIL delivers an efficacy rating of 128 lumens-per-watt and 60% reduction in energy versus comparable HID fixtures. The fixtures are designed for high ceilings (mounting heights up to 40 ft.) and large interior spaces such as warehouses, manufacturing facilities and gymnasiums. All models have a 100,000-hour LED lifespan, based on IES LM-80 results and TM-21 calculations, so maintenance and re-lamping requirements are dramatically reduced, adding even more savings. RAIL models are available in two lengths 20 and 30 inches and four power packages of 95W, 150W, 185W and 225W. A high transmittance semi-diffuse polystyrene lens eliminates glare without compromising light output.
LED Vapor-Tight Fixture
The LED Vapor Tight (VT1/LV) fixture co-developed by NICOR and Shat-R-Shield was designed using thermally engineered polymers for corrosion and UV resistance in harsh environments able to withstand moisture, dust and salt spray. This high efficiency luminaire, weighing only 5 pounds, delivers over 100 lumens per watt and offers two packages with approximately 3,500 and 7,000 lumens. It’s used in marine facilities, natatoriums, industrial facilities, food processing plants, wastewater treatment plants, cold storage, parking garages, wash-down areas, tunnels and subways, construction sites, airports and other harsh environment applications. NICOR and Shat-R-Shield introduced the fixture at Lightfair 2015 and were awarded the highest recognition among industry peers as Most Innovative in its product category.

LED Fixture for Shallow Plenums
Designed to fit shallow plenums above ceilings in residential and light commercial settings, the new Aether downlight from WAC Lighting is engineered with an exclusive, low profile 3.5-inch LED shallow housing. This housing is ideal for installation in small ceiling spaces inside buildings with complex HVAC ducts and heating/water pipes that are located between the floors. Energy Star rated and wet location listed for a variety of applications, Aether fits into ceilings with thicknesses that range from just .50-inch to 1.5-inches.
LED Track Lighting
The Paloma LED track lighting fixture is a museum-quality luminaire with an adjustable LED beam angle that ranges between 15 and 60 degrees using easy and convenient fingertip control. Constructed of die cast aluminum, the Paloma Adjustable LED luminaire features lockable 365-degree horizontal rotation and 180-degree vertical aiming with indexing scales. Paloma can be smoothly and continuously dimmed with an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. Utilizing proprietary LED technology, Paloma operates on 27W and delivers up to 1,600 lumens and a center beam candlepower of up to 7,650. The luminaire operates on 120W and 277W operating systems and offers color temperatures ranging from 2,700K to 4,000K. WAC Lighting
Wireless Control for LED Lamps
Soraa’s wirelessly controlled PAR30L LED lamp provides users with customizable remote functions including dimming, control of lamps in user-defined groups, and user-designed preset lighting scenes. This feature is designed to provide flexibility in achieving uniquely lit spaces by dialing in illuminance levels locally.
“With wireless lighting, we are freed from the constraints and costs that physical electrical control circuitry imposes on lighting designs. With omni-directional light sources, the impact of this is still quite limited; however, directional sources create the ability to locally dial-in light levels,” said Jeff Parker, Soraa’s CEO in a press release. “We believe our wirelessly controlled directional lamps will become an essential tool for customers, providing unlimited possibilities for achieving lighting scenes that are actually practical to implement.”
Featuring three unique configurations – 3.5-inch small aperture LED downlight, adjustable and wall wash luminaires – the MX Downlight series is available in integrated LED and MR16 lamp configurations. Combining a designer look with superior energy saving functionality, the MX Downlight series is designed for retail, commercial, hospitality and residential lighting environments. The fixture’s light module delivers lumen packages from 650 to 1200 lumens, up to 80 lumens per watt. Ensuring fixture-to-fixture color uniformity, the MX product line utilizes Two-Step MacAdam Ellipse binning to ensure color consistency from 2,700K through 4,100K in either 82CRI or 92CRI.
Exterior LED Luminaires
U.S. Architectural Lighting introduces Light Nodes, a new series of small, wall-mounted luminaires designed for use with LED and other high efficacy lamps. Light Nodes provide shielded illumination while highlighting a building’s architectural features and illuminating pathways and pedestrian areas. The mini-fixtures are offered in eight traditional and contemporary models, including curvilinear, channeled, angular, stepped shapes and more. The small yet powerful fixtures are 4.5 inches wide by 6.75 or 7 inches in height and 4.25 inches in depth. Light Nodes accept a wide array of damp and wet location lamps in a range of color temperatures and beam patterns. They are UL-listed for wet locations.

Intelligent Room Controller
Hubbell Building Automation has launched an intelligent lighting control designed to simplify installation with auto-configuration. The NXTM Room Controller provides energy-code compliance right out of the box and integrates automatic and manual control of lighting. Auto-configuration provides an easy and affordable way to meet energy codes, including California's Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1. No network or software is required to set up the unit, as input devices such as digital wall switches, vacancy/occupancy sensors, and daylight sensors plug into the NX Room Controller and are autoconfigured. All device communication is over standard CAT5 cables that simplifies installation and eliminates wiring errors.
