Allied Group Sales (AGS), Phoenix, has named Kathie Toscano residential systems specialist. She will be responsible for promoting manufacturers' products to the various residential channels in the Arizona and Las Vegas trading area. She is rejoining AGS and brings several years of experience in the electrical industry. Tom Conners, formerly the residential systems specialist, will assume a new role as field application engineer. His primary responsibility will be to promote the Allied Group Sales' manufacturers to the engineering firms while supporting and assisting the company's distributor partners.
One Source Associates Inc., Columbia, Md., presented Janet Lutz of Lutron Electronics with the second in a series of outstanding customer service awards.
Biben Marketing Group, a division of Joseph H. Biben Sales Corp., Philadelphia, will represent the entire Leviton electrical division in Maryland; Washington, D.C.; and the northern Virginia territory. Joining Biben Marketing Group is Matt Lenuzza, formerly a direct salesperson with Leviton.
The members of the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA), Tarrytown, N.Y., have approved a change to the NEMRA bylaws that expands the NEMRA board of directors by adding a representative of the Canadian Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (CEMRA) as a full board member. Murray Chamney of Intralec Electrical Products LTD, Mississauga, Ontario, has been elected by the CEMRA membership to fill that role for a two-year term. In a similar action, the CEMRA membership had approved a NEMRA seat on their board. The NEMRA chairman-elect will fill this position.
