AT&T And SunEdison Join To Deliver 677 Kilowatt Solar System In Texas

SunEdison Inc., Lancaster, Texas, completed  a 677kV ground-mount solar photovoltaic (PV) system that will provide energy for the AT&T materials distribution facility in Lancaster, Texas. The press release said AT&T and SunEdison have worked together since 2010. This system uses 2,000 SunEdison solar panels. SunEdison is also working with TerraForm Power on this project.

In other Sun Edison news, the company and TerraForm Power completed their previously announced acquisition of First Wind Holdings, LLC. In the transaction, TerraForm Power purchased 500 MW of operating wind power plants and 21 MW of operating solar power plants from First Wind.
