Apple CEO Tim Cook says his company’s new headquarters will be “the greenest building on the planet” when it’s completed in two years. The building, nicknamed “the Spaceship” for its donut-like design, will house 13,000 employees and be partially powered by 700,000 square feet of solar panels that will create 8MW of power. Some amateur drone enthusiasts have recently been flying their craft near the construction site and their GoPro videos have been attracting zillions of hits on YouTube. This video above, released earlier this month, has over 199,000 hits, while this one shot in August has over 3 million hits.
