For some manufacturers and distributors, hosting sweepstakes and giveaways are favorite ways to generate customer excitement. It's not all that often that a rep firm hosts their own giveaway, but Electro Link Sales LLC, Albuquerque, has gathered together four of its manufacturers and taken the plunge for 2009. At the end of the year, someone will be driving away in a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette.
Electrical distributors and electrical contractors in Electro Link's territory become eligible when they purchase a designated dollar amount from Cantex, Republic Conduit, Picoma or Southwire. Electro Link covers all of New Mexico, as well as parts of southern Colorado and the El Paso, Texas, area.
Electro Link reps will be taking the Corvette around to different functions, such as distributor open houses, trade shows and counter days, “So everyone can see this beauty!” says Beth Alexander. Distributors will also be posting the Corvette Promotion Banner in their counter areas and handing out promotional flyers.
