Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc., Harrisburg, PA, last week hosted a two-day Expo at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA, where it showed customers the latest products from its manufacturers.
The event April 3-4 attracted over 1,600 attendees from across the Pennsylvania, ranging from electrical contractors to industrial automation and facilities managers and procurement professionals to principals. This year over 200 students also attended as part of a specially planned “Student Day.”
The Expo featured 98 manufacturer exhibits and offered 50 seminars and training opportunities including hands-on labs, booth demonstrations and an “Ask the Inspector” area hosted by the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. It was also an official qualifier location for the 2018 IDEAL National Championship and served as the official launch of several innovative products from industry partners.
The Expo has been an important part of the company’s business strategy since the 1950’s when simple table displays lined the small warehouse for customers to learn about new products.
