Schneider Electric's Industry Business unit announced its Automation & Control Excellence (ACE) Program's 2011 Distributors of the Year Awards. These distributors are rewarded in a number of ways, including special training opportunities at Schneider Electric's design centers in Europe, co-op funding by Schneider Electric for incremental technical resource investment by the distributor, and a recognition event for the distributor's team. Schneider Electric recognizes a distributor of the year at each level of the ACE program.
ACE Solutions Distributor of the Year: Border States Electric's Brooklyn Park, Minn., location.
ACE Automation Distributor of the Year: Grant Industrial Controls, Inc., Pittsburgh.
ACE Control Distributor of the Year: Crescent Electric Supply Co., Brooklyn Heights, Ohio.
Schneider says its ACE distributors work hand-in-hand with Schneider's industrial and OEM sales and application teams, as well as marketing experts, to address the concerns of their automation and control customers. The ACE program provides its members with a number of exclusive joint market development activities including local trade shows, sales support tools and resources, marketing programs, and advertising campaigns to help distributors reach out to customers and prospects in their local market.
