Crescent Electric Supply Co., East Dubuque, Ill., has joined the 1,100-member IMARK buying/marketing group, which has more than $12 billion in combined sales and includes more than 70 of the 200 largest electrical distributors in the country. A source at the company said he believed Crescent Electric will now be IMARK's largest member. IMARK members have a combined total of more than 2,000 branch locations. The group has relationships with 100-plus manufacturers and service providers.
Commenting on the announcement in a press release, Dick Cody, Crescent Electric's V.P. of supplier management, said, “The IMARK Group is recognized as a leading buying/marketing group within our industry and its membership is made up of highly recognized and respected distributors. This membership will enhance Crescent Electric's supplier relationships and result in increased interaction with our peers.”
