Robroy said the acquisition will complement Robroy’s Stahlin non-metallic enclosures business, which has been making fiberglass electrical enclosures for more than 60 years.

Robroy Enclosures Inc., Belding, Mich., a subsidiary of Robroy Industries, extended its market reach with the purchase of the assets of Attabox Industrial Enclosures, Temple, Texas. Attabox is a manufacturer of polycarbonate NEMA-rated enclosures. Robroy said in a release that the acquisition will complement Robroy’s Stahlin non-metallic enclosures business, which has been making fiberglass electrical enclosures for more than 60 years.

Manufactured in the U.S., Attabox polycarbonate enclosures are designed for the industrial, solar, electrical, telecommunications, HVAC, instrumentation/control, government, oil and gas and construction markets, Robroy said.

In a joint statement, Jeff Seagle, president of Robroy Enclosures, and Bill Evatt, president of Attabox, said, “Our combined enclosures team is excited to bring Attabox into the Robroy Enclosures family. This polycarbonate addition will complement the Stahlin Non-Metallic fiberglass brand, which is also recognized as the best of its type in the industry.

“Having both manufacturers representing Robroy Enclosures will enable us to grow with the ultimate goal of offering the broadest and most specified non-metallic enclosure products in the world.”
