An energy-savings calculator at helps building owners compare the energy consumption of their current lighting with energy-efficient replacement products.

An energy-savings calculator at www.alltechlighting.com helps building owners compare the energy consumption of their current lighting with energy-efficient replacements.

The users simply identify the type of fixtures they have, enters the number of fixtures installed, the number of hours per day the fixtures are used, and the cost per kilowatt hour (if unsure, default is set at $0.085). The calculator then determines the savings based on the same parameters, but with high-efficiency lighting replacements installed.

All Tech Lighting, Schaumburg, Ill., posted the calculator on its Web site as a free resource. The design firm integrates new lighting technologies to maximize facility appeal and reduce energy costs. All Tech Lighting provides consulting and design for a variety of venues, styles and applications.
