Capital Lighting & Supply, Richmond, Va., a subsidiary of Sonepar USA, donated more than $1,800 to the Children's Hospital of Richmond and St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children in Norfolk. The donations were proceeds from raffles held during the company's annual golf tournaments at the Dominion Club Golf Course in Glen Allen, Va., and Elizabeth Manor Country Club in Portsmouth, Va., this year.

Children's Hospital provides specialized medical and therapeutic services to children. “Events like the Southern Virginia Golf Tournament allow us to continue to care for children in need in the years to come,” says Ashley Langford, special events coordinator for the hospital.

St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, Norfolk, Va., also received a donation. Since 1944, St. Mary's has been caring for children throughout Virginia with severe disabilities as a result of birth disorders, traumatic accidents, illness or child abuse.
