Transition fittings

Transition fittings

Contractors frequently need to transition between raceways, and to make their jobs easier, Bridgeport has engineered an expanded line of transition fittings. Transitioning from liquid-tight to rigid fittings, for example, used to mean employing both a fitting and a coupling, possibly giving rise to questionable code compliance. Using Bridgeport’s singular 4371-LT fitting not only makes for a speedy connection but also one that is always reliably compliant. Fitting-to-coupling transitions also can mean a lot of time and work, not to mention having to look for various parts, to transition from EMT to flexible metal conduit. But with Bridgeport’s 4057-DC fitting, connecting EMT and flexible metal conduit becomes a faster, simpler job with a single part.
