Columbia Electric Awarded Workforce Training Grant

Columbia Electric Supply Inc., Brockton, Mass., received a Massachusetts Workforce Training grant of $48,900 for customer service and sales training. The state grant will primarily be used to fund training offered by Boston-based training provider Impact Skill Sets, which helped Columbia Electric apply for the state grant and has had success working within the program with other clients.

“We're pleased to have been awarded such a significant Workforce Training Grant and look forward to participating in the training programs facilitated by Impact Skill Sets Inc,” said Geoff Murphy, president of Columbia Electric. “Our goal is to provide consistently outstanding service to our valued clients and we know this training will assist us in achieving that goal.”
