Bridgeport Fitting (Stratford, Conn.): Paul Suzio joins Bridgeport Fittings as executive vice president. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager for Edwards Signaling & Security Systems, Cheshire, Conn., which was acquired by GE Infrastructure in March.
Sea Gull Lighting Products (Riverside, N.J.): Eric Borden has been promoted to vice president, Ambiance Lighting Systems. For the past four years, Borden served as director, Ambiance Lighting Systems.
WESCO Distribution Co. (Pittsburgh): Greg Griswold has been named a director. He will be responsible for the New York City branches, which include Avon Electrical Supplies and Liberty Electrical Supply, both divisions of WESCO, and WESCO's Parsippany, N.J., operation. He was president of Cooper Electric/Sonepar.
Guarantee Electrical Contracting (Denver): James R. Riney has been named president Guarantee Electrical Contracting, a subsidiary of Guarantee Electrical Co., St. Louis. Listed among the nation's largest electrical contractors, Guarantee Electrical Co. acquired Denver-based Kimsey Electrical in September 2003, renaming it Kimsey-Guarantee Electrical Contracting. When Stephen M. Kimsey, president, recently left the company to pursue other interests, the name was changed to Guarantee Electrical Contracting.
Service Wire Co. (Culloden, W. Va.): With 20 years sales and management experience in the wire and cable industry, Mike Brashear has been appointed account manager for Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and eastern Nevada.
Grasslin Controls Corp., a division of GE Consumer & Industrial (Mahwah, N.J.): Peter R. Greisinger has been named director of distributor sales and marketing for electrical and HVAC/R markets. Greisinger has spent previous years in the electrical business as a manufacturers' representative.
Graybar (St. Louis): Michael C. Dumas has been named vice president, comm/data business. Dumas, an 18-year Graybar veteran, most recently served as vice president, corporate accounts.
Thomas & Betts (Memphis, Tenn.): Neil I. Wolfson retired April 1 as vice president of the retail division. Wolfson was a 37-year electrical-industry veteran. He was president of L.E. Mason/Red Dot until 1999 when Thomas & Betts acquired the company.
L&S Electric (Schofield, Wis.): Paul Gullickson has been promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president. Formerly vice president operations, Gullickson will continue operations responsibility and will assume responsibilities for the Minneapolis-area facilities. Todd Esala has been promoted to the newly created position of general manager of the Minneapolis and Mounds View, Minn., sales and rotating apparatus repair operations. Formerly, he was Minnesota regional sales manager. Wayne Michlig has been appointed general manager of the electric engineering division. He returns to L&S from Rockwell Automation.
Integrated Electrical Services Inc. (IES, Houston): Richard Humphrey has been named chief operating officer. The 35-year contracting veteran most recently served as regional operating officer.
Power Measurement (Victoria, British Columbia): David Jackson has been appointed district sales manager for Michigan. From his office in Detroit, Jackson will work alongside Power Measurement's U.S. east sales team. Jackson comes to Power Measurement from SSOE, a full-service design firm.
National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED, St. Louis): Jim Lombardo has been appointed educational program manager. Lombardo has 18-plus years of professional training, development, and consulting experience.
Leviton Manufacturing (Little Neck, N.Y.): William Fodor has been appointed director of marketing for the electrical distribution division. Fodor joined Leviton in 2000 as a product manager in the company's OEM division.
Milbank Manufacturing Co. (Kansas City, Mo.): Lavon R. Winkler has taken the helm as chief operating officer. Most recently, Winkler was president and COO of Mid-America Manufacturing Technology Center.
Ferraz Shawmut (Newburyport, Mass.): Jim Kosciolek has been promoted to vice president, distributor sales. Kosciolek moves into this position after serving as the company's southern regional vice president of sales for almost five years. Fred Rampone, a 10-year Ferraz Shawmut veteran, has been appointed regional vice president, central region. Jim Thompson was appointed regional manager, southeast, after serving as senior district manager for the last four years. Steve Reynolds moves into the role of strategic accounts manager after serving as senior district manager, southeast, for nearly three years.
Halco Lighting Corp. (Atlanta): Halco Lighting has announced a reorganization of their sales and operational teams. Kim Cook has been promoted to the newly formed position of chief operating officer, responsible for managing the operations, as well as directing the company's marketing efforts. Most recently, she served as vice president, sales and marketing. Bob Ruggiero has been promoted to vice president of sales, responsible for directing national sales efforts to the electrical distribution market. Ruggiero brings 41 years of sales experience to his new position. Michael Gray has been promoted to vice president, specialty markets. He previously served as northeast regional sales manager. Dave Jackman succeeds Gray as northeast regional sales manager and brings more than 30 years of lighting industry experience. Naomi Taylor, inside sales manager, will now be responsible for managing Halco's customer service group, as well as OEM accounts.
Siemens Building Technologies Inc. (Buffalo Grove, Ill.): William Coulombe has been appointed senior vice president and division head of the company's HVAC products division. Coulombe was vice president of fire services, Siemens Building Technologies' Fire Safety business in Europe. Coulombe succeeds Rick LeBlanc, who became head of the company's building automation division on Oct. 1, 2004.
Cooper Industries (Houston): Paul M. Isabella has been appointed executive vice president, Cooper Connection, responsible for the oversight of Cooper's five electrical products divisions. Formerly, Isabella was senior vice president operations with The Stanley Works. Randy L. Ribbing has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing, Cooper Connection, effective in June. Ribbing has held a variety of sales and operating positions within the Cooper B-Line organization, having joined that business in 1982. He was named vice president of sales at Cooper Bussmann in 2002. Ribbing will succeed Thomas E. Briggs, who will retire this year.
Mayer Electric Supply Co. Inc. (Birmingham, Ala.): Nancy Collat Goedecke has been named vice chairman. The appointment was made as a continuation of Mayer's plan to maintain its family-owned status, which is now in its third generation. Goedecke has been preparing for this responsibility for many years as a member of Mayer's external advisory board, the company's senior leadership team, and by completing the company's leadership development program.
Obituaries
Margaret (Stott) Waltersdorf, former owner of Tristate Electrical Supply, Hagerstown, Md., died March 18. She was 75 years old.
Waltersdorf's father established the electrical distributorship in 1927; it was acquired by Hagemeyer NA in 1999.
Waltersdorf is survived by her husband, John M. Waltersdorf; son, John G. Waltersdorf; three daughters, Elizabeth Grayson Oldfather, Margaret Waltersdorf and Roberta Annan Waltersdorf; and three grandchildren.

Rodney G. Heindel, pricing specialist for Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Harrisburg, Pa., died unexpectedly April 3 of a heart attack. He was 72 years old.
Heindel had been with Schaedler Yesco for more than 50 years. In 1952, he began in the warehouse. He worked through the ranks of the company in roles that included counter sales, inside and outside sales and vice president of marketing.
He is survived by a son, David Heindel; a daughter, Amy J. Fleming; a brother, Robert Heindel; a sister, Nell Kline; and two grandchildren.
