Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): Jeff Norris is now service center leader of the company’s La Porte, Texas, location. He joins Summit just as renovation of the La Porte service center gets underway. Along with remodeling the office spaces, the company is adding 15,000 square feet to La Porte’s warehouse and 30,000 square feet to its pipe and conduit storage yard.
Norris has worked in electrical distribution for nearly 25 years in Oklahoma and northern Texas. He’s overseen product commodity growth, directed sales teams, and managed custom solutions for large industrial contractors, including onsite supply chain management. Norris also led sales and operations for multiple distribution centers and was recently the regional business development manager for a large international distributor. In his new position, he will focus on industrial contractor business, expand the service center’s reach into commercial markets and use the expanded facility’s ongoing renovation to better meet the needs of customers
