The ILSCO Corp. (Cincinnati): Andrew B. Quinn has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer. In addition to his present duties managing the U.S. Sales and New Products Group, Quinn will now be responsible for the company's manufacturing and finance operations.

Greenlee, a Textron Inc. company (Rockford, Ill.): Bill Robson will join Greenlee as vice president of sales and marketing. Robson comes from Textron's E-Z-GO business unit where he most recently served as vice president of the Specialty and Used Car business. Robson will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing area of the business. Robson joined Textron in 1995, having served in a variety of leadership positions. Prior to coming to Textron, Robson led the marketing team at General Cable Co., where he was responsible for two aerial device and utility vehicle product lines for the telecommunications, electric utility and contractor markets.

Wohner USA, the North American operation of Wohner GmbH & Co KG (Hampton, N.H.): Kevin Saunders has joined the company as vice president of marketing and sales. Prior to joining Wohner, Saunders worked for Pass & Seymour/Legrand and Ferraz Shawmut. Most recently, he was principal of a manufacturers' representative company focused in the industrial MRO and OEM market segments in New England.

WinWholesale Inc. (Dayton, Ohio): The company has appointed three company veterans to fill leadership positions in its Eastern, Central and Western regions. Ron Bohannon, a former Western Region area leader in Plano, Texas, was appointed vice president of the Eastern Region to oversee sales and operations in 18 states. Bohannon has been with WinWholesale since 1991, when he joined Paducah Winnelson in Kentucky.

In the Central Region, Kent Best was named an area leader, overseeing operations for WinWholesale companies in Kansas, Wisconsin and parts of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. Best joined WinWholesale in 1973 at N.O. Nelson in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and was president of Grandview Winnelson in Missouri before becoming area leader.

Steve Coen was named an area leader in the Western Region for companies in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Before this appointment, Coen was president of Stillwater Winnelson in Oklahoma. He's been with WinWholesale since its acquisition in 2000 of Central Plumbing Supply, Oklahoma City, where he was general manager and part owner.

North Central Electrical Manufacturers Club (NCEMC) (Bloomington, Minn.): Mike McDermeit, partner, Petersen-Finn Inc., Brooklyn Park, Minn., has been elected by NCEMC members as the 72nd president of the North Central Electrical Manufacturers Club for 2008-09. Election results were announced at the NCEMC's Annual Meeting, May 16 at the Minneapolis Golf Club in St. Louis Park, Minn. Other officers elected to serve on the NCEMC Board for 2008-09 include: Vice President - Jeff Starkman, ElectroTech Inc., Minneapolis; Secretary - Tony Blinkhorn, Rouzer Sales Co., New Hope, Minn.; Treasurer - Tim Burns, Square D Co., Minneapolis; Past President - James Dooher, Hubbell Wiring Devices, Osseo, Minn. New Directors elected to serve on the NCEMC Board for 2008-09 include: Director - Kurt Eismann, Andrews Johnson Brusacoram, Minneapolis; Director - Gary Spear, Pioneer Electrical Sales, Brooklyn Center, Minn. Directors continuing to serve on the NCEMC Board for 2008-09 include: Director - James Grahek, Burndy, Plymouth, Minn.; Director - Burt Holm, Pulse Products, Minnetonka, Minn.; Director - Mike Little, LUMA Sales Associates, Shakopee, Minn.; Director - Scott Vergin, Energy Products Sales, Vadnais Heights, Minn.

Border States (Fargo, N.D.): David Thomson has been named South Central Region Business Development Manager for Border States. Thomson will participate on the company's South Central Region management team and provide direction for new and expanded business opportunities. Before joining BSE, he was the field sales representative for Hoffman Enclosures in Dallas.

Trent Litchy has been named Southwest Region operations manager for Border States. In his new role, he will participate on the company's Southwest Region management team focusing on radio frequency (RF) technology and process improvements. The company's Southwest Region covers Arizona and portions of New Mexico, Texas and northern Mexico. Litchy joined Border States in April 2000 in the third-party billing department of the company's Fargo branch. He transferred to the warehouse where he covered receiving and worked with the fledgling Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program. In 2005, he was named the customer managed inventory/vendor managed inventory (CMI/VMI) administrator where he helped grow the program throughout the company. Litchy also has worked with Border States' Operations team to set up several warehouses and provide training during acquisitions.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque): Joe Chesky is taking the reins of corporate purchasing, vendor relations and inventory/asset management for all 20 Summit locations across five states. Chesky directed Summit's expansion into Texas, beginning with Dallas in 1986. As regional vice president, he helped direct operations in Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, San Antonio, Austin, Killeen and the Gulf Coast. In 2003, he was named senior vice president of operations, moving to Summit's headquarters in Albuquerque.

Cole Harrison, regional operations manager, has been promoted to vice president of operations. Harrison now oversees day-to-day operations of all Summit locations. Harrison joined Summit in 1998. He began in the Albuquerque service center as a warehouse associate and worked his way up to counter and inside sales positions before becoming an account manager in Dallas. He was promoted to Houston service center leader in 2003 and became regional operations manager in January 2008.
