Harris Electric Supply Co. Inc. (Nashville, Tenn.): Pat Crawford and Glenn Hamilton have joined Harris Electric Supply Co.'s newest branch location in

Harris Electric Supply Co. Inc. (Nashville, Tenn.): Pat Crawford and Glenn Hamilton have joined Harris Electric Supply Co.'s newest branch location in Cookeville, Tenn. Crawford will serve as branch manager, and Hamilton joins the sales team. Each brings more than 20 years of electrical distribution experience. Additionally, Hal Brown has been promoted to branch manager of the new branch location in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Brown, a Harris Electric veteran, has 28 years of industry experience.

Kirby Risk Electrical Supply (Lafayette, Ind.): Tim Walsh joins the company as vice president, finance. Most recently he was vice president, finance for ABB Inc. Joel Gavin has been named controller. Previously the northeast division controller for Rexel, Gavin has 12 years experience in finance and accounting and is a licensed CPA. Mark LaMar has accepted the position of manager, quality programs. With the company since 1985, most recently LaMar was logistics analyst for the process improvement team at Kirby Risk's Indianapolis regional distribution center.

Consolidated Electrical Distributors Inc. (Westlake Village, Calif.): Joe Huffman, formerly vice president of sales with Leviton, has joined Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) as vice president, supplier relations. Huffman will succeed Ron Heronemus who will retire Oct. 1, 2003, after 30 years with the company.

Maurice Electrical Supply (Washington, D.C.): Jack Justilian, chief operating officer, retired from Maurice Electrical Supply April 30. He had been with the company since July 1996. Justilian was also active in IMARK, serving on its marketing committee, and the National Association of Electrical Distributors, serving as eastern region vice president from 2000-2002.

ILSCO Corp. (Cincinnati): Bill Wolins has been named vice president of business development. Wolins had been the director of new product development since August 1998.

Federal Pacific (Bristol, Va.): David White has been appointed regional sales manager for the North-Central United States. White comes to Federal Pacific with 23 years experience in the electrical industry, most recently with Industrial Control Design & Maintenance where he held the position of vice president, sales.

Fairmont Supply Co. (Canonsburg, Pa.): Richard Layton, formerly vice president of operations, has been appointed president of Fairmont Supply. He succeeds Charles Whirlow, who has retired after 33 years of service. Whirlow had been president of the company since 1998.

Streamlight Inc. (Eagleville, Pa.): Bill Ward has been appointed director of industrial and fire sales, with responsibility for leading the sales efforts in the industrial and fire markets. Prior to joining Streamlight, Ward was employed with Cooper Industries IPT Division and also with Standard Abrasives.

Cooper B-Line (Highland, Ill.): Brad Criner has been promoted to product manager for the meter mounting and distribution equipment lines. Prior to his promotion, Criner served as a technical support representative. Dave Rice has been named new business development manager. Rice joins Cooper B-Line after more than 20 years at Cooper Bussmann, where he most recently served as marketing manager. Kent Kampwerth has joined the company as an inside sales/customer service manager. Kampwerth joins Cooper B-Line from WorldCom, where he served as customer service and dispute resolution manager. Kathy Neville has been promoted to inside sales/customer service manager. Neville served as product manager of the fastener division from 1998 to 2002 and also worked in the sales engineering department from 1996 to 1998. Scott Neal has been promoted to product manager in the spring steel fastener division. Over the past seven years at Cooper B-Line, Neal has served as an engineer, a sales engineer and as a sales engineering manager.

Howard Industries (Laurel, Miss.): Chris Logan has been promoted to vice president of OEM sales and national accounts. Logan has been with Howard Industries for six years, first in operations and later in sales.

Prescolite Inc., a division of Hubbell Inc. (Spartanburg, S.C.): Ron Newbold has been appointed senior product manager. Previously, Newbold served as commercial product manager for Progress Lighting, a brand of Hubbell Lighting.

Piller Inc. (Middletown, N.Y.): With more than 35 years experience, George Danbury has been named vice president of service, responsible for upholding Piller's standard of customer service and support. Most recently, Danbury served as a UPS industry consultant for several companies within the critical power market. His resume also includes seven years as vice president of service at KW Controls.

Devices, Canada. Briggs, formerly national sales manager for the group, reports to Elsdon as national sales manager, Cooper Retail Division, which comprises both the Cooper Wiring Devices and the Cooper Lighting product line in the Canadian retail marketplace.

National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (Buffalo, N.Y.): Ralph Girondo, Lighting Systems, Warminister, Pa, was elected president of the National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD) at its annual convention, trade show and conference in April. Other officers elected include Gary Root, Atlanta Light Bulbs Inc., Tucker, Ga., president elect; John Devereux, Northwestern Lighting and Supply, Elgin, Ill., secretary/treasurer; and Clay Otto, Starbeam Supply, St. Louis, past president, on the executive committee and to the board. Newly elected directors include David Bailey, First Light Inc., Meridian, Miss.; Gordon Hunt, Illuminating Technologies Inc., Greensboro, N.C.; Bill Hurd, Nova Lighting, Charlotte, N.C.; Rob Mills, C.N. Robinson Lighting Supply, Baltimore, Md.; and Janet Sinclair, Allighting Products, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Sidney A. Phillips, LC, Professional Lighting & Supply Inc., Greensboro, N.C., will serve as past president council representative. Vendor member representatives include Tom Ciurczak, USHIO America Inc., Cypress, Calif., and John Ranshaw, Con-Tech, Northbrook, Ill.
