Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures (Belding, Mich.): Ed Atanasoff, who joined Stahlin last year as quality engineer, has been promoted to quality manager

Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures (Belding, Mich.): Ed Atanasoff, who joined Stahlin last year as quality engineer, has been promoted to quality manager after leading the manufacturer's efforts in ISO registration. Prior to joining Stahlin, Atanasoff had over 25 years of experience in quality and plant management.

Border States (Fargo, N.D.): Bob Burdette has been appointed vice president, south central region. Burdette previously served as president and a member of the board of directors for Nunn Electric Supply Corp., Amarillo, Texas, which merged with Border States.

Baynes Electric Supply (Brockton, Mass.): Brian Harley has joined the company as an outside sales manager from EA Langenfeld, a sales, marketing and consulting organization, where he ran the Northeast sales operation. Additionally, John Malcolm joins Baynes as counter manager at the Brockton, Mass., location.

OneSource Distributors (Oceanside, Calif.): Mike Smith has joined OneSource Distributors as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Smith comes to OneSource from Intuit/Eclipse where he spent eight years as a senior leader of their technology, implementation and distribution software development team.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): With more than 30 years of industry experience, Drew Ott joins Summit Electric as vice president of sales. Ott had been a regional vice president with Hughes Supply Inc.

Affiliated Distributors (A-D, King of Prussia, Pa.): Sean Kenny has joined A-D's electrical supply division, serving as director of member relations, responsible for advancing relationships between A-D's electrical affiliates and suppliers. Kenny comes to Affiliated Distributors after 16 years at Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. Additionally, Maura Wheeler was promoted to director of communications. Wheeler joined A-D in March 2004 as a member of the marketing team.

NESCO (Canton, Mass.): Roland Moulin has been appointed director of sales after 14 years of sales management experience. Most recently, Moulin was director of sales for a large electrical distributor in New England.

Shat-R-Shield (Salisbury, N.C.): John Kehs has been appointed vice president, finance and administration. With more than 20 years of experience, Kehs joined Shat-R-Shield as controller in April 2005.

Bridgeport Fittings Inc. (Stratford, Conn.): A 26-year veteran in the electrical industry, Paul Suzio has been named president and chief operating officer. Prior to this appointment, Suzio was Bridgeport's executive vice president.

Minerallac/Cully (Addison, Ill.): Effective May 19, Jim Hlavacek will become president of Minerallac/Cully. Hlavacek has been with the company since 1990. He succeeds John Alton, who is retiring. Alton will remain as a member of the board of directors.

Rexel Inc. (Dallas): With 10 years of advertising and marketing experience, Coretta Turner joins Rexel as marketing specialist with responsibility for vendor co-op and marketing funds.

Leviton (Little Neck, N.Y.): Joseph Geigel has been appointed senior product/marketing manager for Leviton Integrated Networks & Controls Residential Systems Group. Geigel brings a diverse background in marketing, engineering and product planning and development.

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED, St. Louis, Mo.): Tammy Miller, CEO of Border States Electric Supply, Fargo, N.D., has been named incoming chair-elect of the NAED board of directors. Miller will serve as chair-elect in 2006-2007, preparing to lead the NAED board of directors in 2007-2008. At NAED's annual meeting held April 22-26, John Duda, chairman and CEO of Butler Supply Inc., St. Louis, Mo., become NAED chairman of the board for the 2006-2007 year.

Obituary

James W. French, former president of French Gerleman Electric, Maryland Heights, Mo., died April 7. He was 81 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth French; and his children, William B. French, James D. French and Carol Wagner.
