Houston Wire & Cable Co. (Houston): John Marchiando joined the company as regional V.P.. He has more than 20 years of industry experience in both manufacturing and distribution, most recently as V.P. of automation and control for Anixter. Marchiando earned his electrical engineering technology degree from Texas Tech University.

Crescent Electric Supply Co. (East Dubuque, Ill.): The company has appointed two industry executives to its board of directors: Jerry Whitaker most recently president, Electrical Sector (Americas) at Eaton Corp., and Scott Pollei, who currently serves as executive V.P. and COO of The Dolan Co.

Connexion (Buffalo Grove, Ill.): Randy Shelton has been hired as project executive, where he will be a commercial lighting specialist focusing in the areas of national accounts, lighting controls commercial, design and build projects, and key customer development. He has been working in the lighting industry since 1973 and has been employed by major lighting manufacturers and manufacturer rep agencies since that time.

Integrated Electrical Services Inc. (Houston): James Lindstrom is now interim CEO and president, succeeding Michael Caliel, who will be leaving the company effective June 30 to pursue other interests. In other executive changes at IES, Thomas Santoni, previously V.P., Central Division, Commercial & Industrial, has been promoted to the position of president, IES Commercial & Industrial. Santoni joins fellow divisional presidents, Donald Fishstein, IES Communications and Dwayne Collier, IES Residential. Santoni has been with IES for 16 years, serving in various management positions in the commercial and industrial businesses. He attended the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

Carlo Gavazzi (Buffalo Grove, Ill.): David Bader is now national market development manager for the United States, where he will be responsible for developing the company's presence in the conventional energy and renewable energy market segments and the plastics/rubber industry. Additionally, David will be developing and refining business policies and strategy for the company's distributor sales channel. He most recently worked as the sales manager for a leading automation distributor in the Mid-Atlantic area. Prior to that, he worked as an area sales manager for a leading automation components manufacturer.

Ideal Industries Inc. (Sycamore, Ill): Jeff Kellermann was hired as V.P./general manager of the company's Tool Group and will manage all aspects of the operation of the Ideal's retail and industrial sales groups, as well as its SK Hand Tool and Western Forge business units. He will report directly to Jim James, Ideal's president and CEO. He was president of ITW Metals Group Fleetwood-Signode for the past 18 years, both prior to and after ITW acquired the organization, then known as Fleetwood Packaging Co. Before his tenure with Fleetwood, Kellermann worked for fine paper distributor LaSalle Whitaker in roles of increasing responsibilities, eventually rising to V.P. of marketing and operations. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island.

Leviton Manufacturing Co. Inc. (Melville, N.Y.): Peter Kleinman is now director of marketing for Leviton's distribution channel and will report to William Marshall, the company's senior V.P. of sales and marketing. Kleinman will lead the marketing, branding and advertising for the company's full line of products across the distribution sales channel. In a career spanning more than 20 years with Leviton, Kleinman has served as senior designer for the marketing communications department where he produced the company's first electronic catalog in 1992; manager of creative and production services for the commercial/industrial division, where he named and help market the launch of the Evr-Green Electric Vehicle Charger line; and marketing communications manager for distribution.

Before joining Leviton, Kleinman worked for Esquire and National Lampoon magazines; as V.P. of marketing at Sekani Inc., where he built and ultimately sold a company that provided content via the web efficiently for Fortune 500 companies. Kleinman majored in communications and advertising at Pratt Institute, and will be based at Leviton's corporate headquarters.

MaxLite (West Caldwell, N.J.): Pat Treadway has been appointed product marketing manager for MaxLite. For the past five years, he has been in product management for outdoor lighting, Energy Star, and residential lighting products. Previously, Treadway was principal at Design Point, a consulting firm in the sports and construction industries. He has also held a number of design and management positions in the recreation vehicle industry and has 30 years of experience in product management, product design and product development.

Ilsco (Cincinnati): Janice Middleton has been hired as product manager for the company's mechanical connector product offering. She comes to ILSCO from LSI Industries where she was a product manager for architectural indoor lighting. Middleton has extensive experience in customer service and product management in the lighting industry.

Wiseway Supply (Florence, Ky.): The company has made the following new hires to its sales team. New outside salesperson Mike Quatman spent most of his career with Murphy Electric Supply and a short time with City Electric; Brian Childs, also now in outside sales, worked for companies such as Lebanon Electric, City Electric and Mesco Electric and has years of experience in commercial lighting; Nick Sarakatsannis joined Wiseway's electrical outside sales team after working with Graybar Electric and Rexel; and Steve Rizkallah is now an outside salesperson with Wiseway after working for WESCO and Edison Electric. In addition, Tony Faulkner has rejoined the company after working for City Electric for several years and is now working in the company's inside sales department.

Luminus Devices Inc. (Billerica, Mass.): Charles Jerabek, recently retired vice chairman of Osram Sylvania, was appointed to the company's board of directors.

Fulham North America (Hawthorne, Calif.): Patrick O'Neal is now regional sales manager for the Southeastern United States. He is a 25-year industry veteran with extensive rep, regional sales management and electrical distribution experience working for Graybar, Hubbell, Leviton, OZ Gedney and the Bailey/Martin sales agency. O'Neal will be responsible for all Fulham activities with full-line and specialty distributors in Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; North and South Carolina; Georgia; Tennessee; Kentucky; Alabama; Louisiana; Mississippi; Missouri; Texas and Florida.

comCables (Denver): Carin Avila-Darr has joined comCables as the regional sales manager for the Western region, bringing 26 years of data and structured cabling experience. John Orosz was also hired as an inside sales rep after installing low-voltage special systems for 15 years. Avila-Darr has worked for major brands like Hitachi Cable, Accu-Tech Corp. and ran her own company, Global Green Technologies, LLC, which focused on abandoned cable removal. Before starting at comCables, Orosz was an installer of security, fire alarm and other special systems for more than 15 years. These two additions to the sales team follow the promotion of David Buchanan from director of sales to V.P. of sales. Buchanan joined comCables in May 2010.
