Klein Tools (Lincolnshire, Ill): James Pultorak has been hired as V.P. of manufacturing, replacing Chris Hargan, current senior V.P. of manufacturing, who will retire at the end of 2014. He brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and operations in a variety of industries including hand tools, tool storage, printing, packaging, roofing and automotive. In his new role, Pultorak will manage manufacturing strategies and policies to guide Klein Tools in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability. He will be responsible for all of Klein Tools’ manufacturing functions and plants and will be located at the company’s Mansfield, Texas, facility.
Prior to joining Klein Tools, Pultorak worked at WS Packaging Group Inc. as V.P., operations He also has experience as V.P. of operations at APEX Tool Group (formerly Danaher Corp.), and as operations manager at GAF Materials Corp. Pultorak received his bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Western New England College and a MBA from Western Kentucky University.
