Acuity Brands’ Holophane TunnelPass LED has been designated by DOE’s Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Solid State Lighting (SSL) Design Competition as a luminaire designed with technical innovation and excellence. The TunnelPass LED luminaire reduces energy consumption by up to 50% compared to high-intensity discharge (HID) fixtures and provides optimal lighting uniformity in tunnel and underpass applications, while offering up to 100,000 hours of reliable operation.
The drivers in the LED have 0 to 10 volt dimming capability, allowing users to control the lumen output as desired. The fixtures are also available with optional lumen packages to maximize energy savings. TunnelPass LED luminaires can be ceiling or wall mounted. They are intended to replace 100W through 400W high pressure sodium.
