A survey sponsored by the Energy Cost Savings Council and CFO magazine found that most corporate executives are unaware of the opportunity to cut operating costs by installing energy-efficient electrical equipment. The survey of CFO readers conducted by Market Research Bureau, Washington, D.C., found most respondents thought they had little control over electrical energy costs and were unfamiliar with ways to upgrade a facility. Three out of four among those who had undertaken energy efficient upgrades said they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the results.
