Siemens Industry UK and Morgan Sindall Group plc, a UK construction and regeneration group, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that covers strategic technology and infrastructure partnership.
Morgan Sindall Group has more than 7,000 people working on projects ranging from small retrofits to utility construction and major urban regeneration schemes. With the MOU Siemens will become one of Morgan Sindall's key technology partners, providing advice and guidance in relation to technical and technological aspects of projects delivered across its business. The partnership will allow Morgan Sindall to leverage advantages of scale, including life cycle cost benefits as well as commercial and technical benefits relating to the supply of Siemens products, services and solutions.
Siemens employs 12,972 people in the UK. Last year its UK revenues were approximately $6.9 billion. Morgan Sindall's revenues last year were approximately $3.47 billion.
