Needham Electric Donates Golf Event Proceeds to Wounded Warrior Project and Homes for Our Troops

Needham Electric Supply, Canton, Mass., recently donated $2,500 to the Wounded Warrior Project and Homes for Our Troops. The proceeds are from the company’s 14th annual Golf Tournament held at Easton Country Club in September.

Wounded Warrior Project serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after Sept. 11, 2001 and their families.  According to WWP, over 48,000 servicemen and women have been physically injured in the recent military conflicts and as many as 400,000 live with combat-related stress, major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Homes for Our Troops’ mission is to build mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans Post-9/11, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Needham’s donation will benefit a home being built in Middleboro, MA. The 24-location Needham Electric Supply is ranked #68 in EW’s Top 200 ranking.
