Revolution Lighting to Partner with Fastenal

LED lighting manufacturer Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. , Stamford, Conn., announced a strategic distribution partnership with the Fastenal Co., one of the largest MRO suppliers in the United States. Under terms of the partnership, Fastenal will stock and sell a variety of Revolution Lighting’s LED products through its U.S. Fastenal stores and distribution centers.

Revolution Lighting and its reps will be helping Fastenal go after LED lighting retrofit projects.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to work with Fastenal and confident our pure play LED product offering, along with our exclusive sales network, will be a valued asset in securing LED lighting retrofit projects with Fastenal’s extensive customer base,” said Vincent Alonzi, VP of network sales, Revolution Lighting.

According to Revolution Lighting Chairman and CEO Robert LaPenta, his company looks at the Fastenal deal as a way to enter the industrial maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) market with a well established partner.

“The Fastenal partnership is well aligned with Revolution Lighting’s strategic growth plan. This relationship provides Fastenal with access to our expansive LED product line, in addition to a world-class service and support infrastructure. Revolution Lighting gains a market leading partner that will facilitate our entry into the large MRO marketplace. We believe as this relationship continues to develop, it has the potential to contribute positively to our financial performance.” said LaPenta.
