Warshauer Electric Supply, Tinton Falls, N.J., joined with Family & Children’s Services of Monmouth County and Lunch Break, a non-profit organization which provides life’s basic necessities to underprivileged members of the local community, to donate food, clothing and toys this holiday season. During the month of November, Warshauer held their annual food drive at all five locations throughout New Jersey, collecting dozens of bags of food in an effort to alleviate hunger in members of the local community this Thanksgiving.

Warshauer also held its annual toy drive, which encouraged all employees to donate toys to Operation Sleighbells, Family & Children’s Services of Monmouth County’s signature holiday gift-giving program. This year, in addition to their annual fundraisers, Warshauer also participated in the Adopt-a-Family program, in which the company donated Christmas gifts including toys, clothing and gift cards to a local family. Warshauer did this by displaying a “giving tree” in their state-of-the-art Lighting Design Center showroom at the company’s headquarters in Tinton Falls during the month of December. Specific items on the family’s wish-list were displayed on gift tags hung on the giving tree. In total, Warshauer collected nearly 100 toys to benefit both of these organizations.
