NorthEast Electrical Distributors’ Providence Branch Wins “Best of the Best” Merchandising Competition

NorthEast Electrical Distributors, a division of Sonepar USA, launched its official “Branch Branding Guidelines” merchandising program to assist in standardizing, merchandising and maintaining all of their locations. These guidelines were designed to help the company give their customers the best experience possible, and continue to grow a strong brand identity.

This past April, NorthEast Electrical Distributors, a division of Sonepar USA, launched its official “Branch Branding Guidelines” merchandising program to assist in standardizing, merchandising and maintaining all of their locations. These guidelines were designed to help the company give their customers the best experience possible, and continue to grow a strong brand identity.

Each quarter, all branches submit photographs of their general counter area to show how it’s merchandised. The submissions are then evaluated, based on the guidelines, and one branch is named as “Best of the Best” for Merchandising. The NorthEast Electrical Distributors branch in Providence, R.I., was named “Best of the Best” for the second quarter. Employees were awarded with American Express gift cards, along with a trophy that is now on display at their location, until another winner is announced the next quarter.  

NorthEast is a full-service electrical distributor that provides electrical products and services to electrical contractors, industrial, OEM, utility, and institutional customers. The company operates more than 30 branch locations throughout the six New England states.
